Ahead Black Technology University will establish a centralized e-Library system<\/strong> to support teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement across all faculties. The e-Library will serve as a digital knowledge hub<\/strong> that provides students, staff, and researchers with timely, researched, and relevant academic resources<\/strong> in line with the university\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The e-Library is designed to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Support competency-based education (CBE)<\/strong> and the TRICC framework<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enable research, publication, and innovation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Preserve and elevate African Indigenous Knowledge Systems<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide equitable access to learning resources across multiple campuses .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Key Features of the e-Library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Digital Collections<\/strong>:\n

      • E-books, e-journals, theses, dissertations, policy papers, and research reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Specialized repositories in Agriculture, Health, Environment, Applied Social Sciences, and Digital Technologies<\/strong> .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Institutional Repository (IR)<\/strong>:\n

        • Storage and dissemination of ABTU research outputs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Publications from university research programmes (SITAV, SAIDAR, DIGIDA, CCIBA, DAIM) .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Indigenous Knowledge Digital Archive<\/strong>:\n

          • Documented African indigenous technologies, practices, art, remedies, and innovations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Aligned with the university\u2019s Black Technology niche<\/strong> and DIIVE framework .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

            • 24\/7 online access via secure university login<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Physical digital library spaces established in all faculties<\/strong> as outlined in Section 9 of the proposal .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                Governance & Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
